Hi
everyone! Today I'm sharing one of three layouts that I have created for The Scrap Room craft store using the Plume & Petal collection by 49 and Market.
For the base I chose the reverse side Solids 4 12x12 paper then random stenciled and stamped around the photo area with Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Villainous Potion. I've also used the barcode strip which was cut down and adhered to the left and bottom of the photo. Given this was a 5x7" photo I needed a big element so I fussy cut the entire element from the Shine 12x12 paper, then cut the dress portion off as I only wanted the floral part. This was then adhered over the bottom of the photo.
I
chose elements from the Laser Cut Elements, Blendable Rub-on Transfers,
Washi Sheets and the Sentiments to make up the clusters around the
photo and title the layout. Other
elements such as chipboard, filmstrips and gems from my stash were added
to complete the layout. The title was a little too bright for this layout so with leftover purple ink on my brush, I gently inked the title to blend it in to the rest of the layout.
Here
are my completed project plus close up photos showing how I've created
and embellished the layout. All products used from The Scrap Room are
listed below. Other products listed are from my stash, some are now
discontinued but have been listed as a guide only. You can easily
substitute for similar products that are still available or from your
own stash.
