Happy Days Layout for The Scrap Room

Hi everyone! Today I'm sharing the third of three layouts that I have created for The Scrap Room craft store using the Plume & Petal collection by 49 and Market.

For the base I've used the Bliss 12x12 paper and rotated it upside down to disguise the "mannequin" design on the paper. I cut the circle frame section from the Sparkle 12x12 paper then matted this onto some black cardstock and fussy cut to leave a 1/8 inch border. Before adhering the frame I ink blended some Tim Holtz Unchartered Mariner Oxide Ink in a circle to form a shadow around the circle frame piece. This helps the frame to pop from the base.

The 3x4 photo has been matted onto some black cardstock then some of the reverse side of the Smile 12x12 paper. Before adhering the photo I stenciled a brick design using Tim Holtz Dusty Concord Oxide Ink. Then random stamped some clocks and script using Tim Holtz Black Soot Oxide Ink in a reverse "L" from the top right down to the bottom left.

I chose elements from the Laser Cut Elements, Blendable Rub-on Transfers, Washi Sheets and the Sentiments to make up the clusters around the photo and title the layout. Other elements such as the chipboard from my stash were added to complete the layout.
