everyone! Today I'm sharing my first project as part of the Design Team for The Scrap Room craft store in Shepperton Victoria. I'm honoured to be designing for Melissa and have the opportunity to create with the amazing brands and products that she carries in her store.
For this layout I have used the Lifetime Loving You collection by Craft O'Clock. It's a wedding themed collection with beautiful papers and fussy cutting packs that have so many coordinating elements that you can add to your projects. This collection worked beautifully with a photo of my nanna with mum on her wedding day.
For the base cut a one inch frame from the #5 paper. Trim down a piece of the DDW cardstock in Cafe Noir to 11 1/4 inches then cut a 1/2 inch frame and adhere to the #5 paper frame. Next trim the #3 paper down to 11x11 inches and adhere the reverse side to the frame.
Mat your photo onto some of the Cafe Noir cardstock, adhere some scrap cardboard or foam tape then adhere to the base.
Fussy cut all elements from the Lifetime Loving You Extras Set - Mix and add around the photo. I have mirrored the element positions on each side of the photo. Some of these elements have been adhered with foam tape for extra dimension.
For the title I have die cut some letters to make the word "Bride" from the Cafe Noir cardstock. Die cut a lace border or use any lace or trim, muslin and gold pearls to finish the layout.
