White.. with 1 November Challenge - Freesia

Sunday, November 30, 2014 3 Comments
Hi everyone! Here is my entry into White.. with 1's November challenge. The colour choice for this month was Freesia.  I've used a photo of my nephew that I took when I was babysitting him one day. I had already done a layout with this photo years ago but wanted to do a more 'modern' one and this challenge was perfect for it.

Apart from doing the usual colour/texture techniques, I decided to incorporate some of my colourist skills as well. The little bear went with both Matty's photo and the sentiment perfectly so it became the main embellishment feature for this layout.

Whimsy Challenge 77 - Two or More Images!

Sunday, November 30, 2014 1 Comments
Hi everyone! Here is my entry into Whimsy Stamps November challenge which is using two or more of their stamps on a project.

This is a Mother's Day card that I created earlier this year for Mother's Day using Crissy Armstrong's "Fistful of Flowers (Girl)" and "Flowers for You (Boy)" rubber stamps. This image was created using the masking technique - it's not digitally done. The ticket sentiment is from the "Postage Stamps Collection" also from Whimsy Stamps.

Hi everyone! This is a layout that I created, not for a challenge or from a sketch, purely because I love the photos and they needed to be scrapped! This is my niece Stefanie with Minnie at their first pony club muster at Tamborine Pony Club in 2010.
