Hi everyone! I'm back as a Guest Designer for Bee Arty using the Aussie Bushland collection. This is a whimsical watercolour style Aussie themed collection full of our favourite flora and fauna.

For this project I have created a set of A2 cards using paper from the collection, the coordinating stamp set and some die sentiments. I've stamped the image onto some masking paper and placed it over the stamped image before inking the background in a matching ink colour. For the sentiments I have taken the sentiments and substituted some of the words with Dymo labels. You can also use stamps if you have the words. It a good way to break up the die cut and put focus onto the theme of the card.

 

The dimensions for the layers are:

Card Base - 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inches

Black cardstock matting layer - 4 x 5 1/4 inches

Patterned paper layer - 3 7/8 x 5 1/8 inches

Focal point layer - 3 x 4 1/8 inches

Black cardstock matting layer - 3 1/8 x 4 2/8 inches

For this project I have created two quick and easy A2 cards using paper from the collection and die sentiments. You can always just cut down and crop your scrapbooking papers for instant card focal points and backgrounds.
