Club La La Land Project Kit - August

Wednesday, September 17, 2014 1 Comments
Hi everyone! Here is my first project using the Club La La Land project kit for August. We have the option to either copy Irina's layouts or design layouts of our own. I decided that I would copy the layouts but colour Marci with colours of my choice. I will also be creating my own layouts using the stamps and dies from the project kit a little later.  Soooo, here is little Marci the Mermaid featuring both Irina's and my own versions. Isn't she cute? :D

The Paper Shelter DT - Extras

Wednesday, September 17, 2014 0 Comments
Hi everyone! Here are a few more layouts that I created for submission to The Paper Shelter's Design Team call that didn't make the cut. I thought I would make a few and then decide which one - it's never easy as these stamps are just lovely! My apologies for the bad lighting which is throwing the colours out a little.

The first one features 'Rowena' which I have coloured using Copic alcohol markers.

The second card features 'Rhythm Everywhere' which was also coloured using Copic alcohol markers.

The Paper Shelter Design Team Call

Hi everyone! This card I created for as my submission into The Paper Shelter's Design Team call.  Since discovering these digi stamps, they have come to be one of my favourite brands. Colouring them is so much fun and they are so adorable! It's hard to choose which one when I'm buying some!

Here is my entry featuring the 'Moon Spell' digi stamp which I coloured using Copic alcohol markers. My apologies for the bad lighting which is throwing the colours out a little.

Mini Album Class

Tuesday, September 16, 2014 0 Comments
Hi everyone! This is a mini album that I made in a class last Saturday. It was a challenge as there are so many parts to make and the album is completely made from scratch. You wonder how you can fit so much detail into a little book! The teacher's book was used for her wedding photos but you could use it for any theme using any co-ordinating papers. I'm so glad that I did this class as the end result is beautiful!

Dusty Attic Design Team Call

Thursday, September 11, 2014 0 Comments
Hi everyone! I was a little more than excited when I read that Dusty Attic were putting the call out for a second design team, so I've decided to apply! This will be my first design team application and yes, I'm a little nervous but that's to be expected lol.  I love using chipboard and Dusty Attic have a lovely range and can be used for so many things, in so many ways. Raw, painted, distressed, heat embossed, inked, stamped.. the list goes on!

The design team entry consists of the September Sketch, a layout design of our own as well as something off the page which could be a canvas, card, wood piece etc. So without further ado, here are the three pieces that I have submitted as my application for Dusty Attic's Deisgn Team. :)

This is the layout that I created for the September Sketch Challenge. Details of this layout can be found here.

Piece No. 2 - Layout of My Choice

My second piece is a layout of my own choice which I had created a few months ago. I love how the colours in the paper worked so well with Pusscat's colouring. This layout was fun to do and can be easily replicated using Dusty Attic's round frames, flourish pieces and embellishments.
