Lifetime Loving You Cards for The Scrap Room

Hi everyone! Today I'm sharing a variety of cards that I created for The Scrap Room craft store using the Lifetime Loving You collection by Craft O'Clock. It's a wedding themed collection with beautiful papers and fussy cutting packs that have so many coordinating elements that you can add to your projects.

 

Sometimes when I create I have so many ideas all at once, I can't just do one card or even one layout, especially with collections like this. These samples show how you can create a variety of different cards and styles all from the one collection too!

 

Here are my completed cards plus close up photos showing how I've created and embellished the cards. All products used from The Scrap Room are listed below. Other products listed are from my stash, some are now discontinued but have been listed as a guide only. You can easily substitute for similar products that are still available or from your own stash.

Hello Beautiful Layout for The Scrap Room

Hi everyone! Today I'm sharing my second project as part of the Design Team for The Scrap Room craft store using the Lifetime Loving You collection by Craft O'Clock. It's a wedding themed collection with beautiful papers and fussy cutting packs that have so many coordinating elements that you can add to your projects. This collection is versatile enough that you can still create projects that are not wedding themed as I have done with this layout. The colours worked so well with my photo of little Molli so I had to use it.

 

For this layout I've taken the #4 paper, rotated it and then stenciled around the centre floral design to add depth and dimension. It also helps to break the cluster from the paper base.

 

The photo has been triple matted onto coordinating DDW cardstock in Cafe Noir, Almond Bisque and Aquamarine. 

 

I have fussy cut elements from the Lifetime Loving You Extras Set - Mix and created dimensional clusters to the top left and bottom right of the photo. For some extra interest I've die cut a flourish from the Cafe Noir cardstock, cut in half and added into the clusters. The title is just a card sentiment from my stash, but you could add any title be in chipboard, die cut etc that works with your photo.

 

To finish off I've added some sparkly green gems for some added shine.

Bride Layout for The Scrap Room

Hi everyone! Today I'm sharing my first project as part of the Design Team for The Scrap Room craft store in Shepperton Victoria. I'm honoured to be designing for Melissa and have the opportunity to create with the amazing brands and products that she carries in her store.

 

For this layout I have used the Lifetime Loving You collection by Craft O'Clock. It's a wedding themed collection with beautiful papers and fussy cutting packs that have so many coordinating elements that you can add to your projects. This collection worked beautifully with a photo of my nanna with mum on her wedding day.

 

For the base cut a one inch frame from the #5 paper. Trim down a piece of the DDW cardstock in Cafe Noir to 11 1/4 inches then cut a 1/2 inch frame and adhere to the #5 paper frame. Next trim the #3 paper down to 11x11 inches and adhere the reverse side to the frame.

 

Mat your photo onto some of the Cafe Noir cardstock, adhere some scrap cardboard or foam tape then adhere to the base. 

 

Fussy cut all elements from the Lifetime Loving You Extras Set - Mix and add around the photo. I have mirrored the element positions on each side of the photo. Some of these elements have been adhered with foam tape for extra dimension.

 

For the title I have die cut some letters to make the word "Bride" from the Cafe Noir cardstock. Die cut a lace border or use any lace or trim, muslin and gold pearls to finish the layout.
