Creative Challenge - Clocks

The theme was easy as I love clocks, no, actually I'm obsessed! I've got stamps, dies, chipboard, embellishments of all kinds that are clocks. Who hasn't right? They are very popular and can be used with almost all styles of scrapbooking. It doesn't matter whether it's for a female, male, animal layout etc. Clocks are such a versatile embellishment for any layout. I had a lot of fun with this theme and here is what I created.

"Remember This Moment"

How was I inspired by the word Moment? I was inspired by the photo used in this layout. It's of me with my nephew Matthew in 2002 when he was about six months old. It was the "moment" we really bonded as Aunty and Nephew. It was so special.

As you can see we still have that special bond.

More Than Words January Challenge - Personality & Selfie

Hi everyone! Here is my entry into the first challenge for More Than Words challenge blog. Their challenges are based on a word and creative challenge as well as mini challenges in the last week of the month. For January the challenge is Personality and Selfie.

How was I inspired by the word Personality? That's an easy one for me being a Pisces as we are creative by nature. It's very much a part of my personality and who I am. I've always been doing something creative, from art in high school, ceramics, scrapbooking, card making and even make up. Yes, even make up is all about creativity now. These days, I'm into everything from Copic colouring to mixed media and everything else in between. I find inspiration from people, places, online, practically anywhere and the urge to create usually hits me late at night when I should be asleep! lol  I've also been taking selfies for about the last 20 odd years. Back then it was a lot harder as you couldn't see what you were doing with the old film cameras. Taking selfies and having fun with them is also a reflection of my personality, I'm always goofing around and having fun!

For my layout, I went with the blue tones as it's not only the colour of my top but also water which also happens to be my element.
